No. Prepare Training does not offer government-funded training. Ask our team about current course fees before enrolling.

Q: Are these construction courses nationally recognised?

Yes, all courses are nationally recognised qualifications delivered by Prepare Training (RTO 45384), registered with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).

Q: Can I study building courses online?

Coursework is delivered online. Workplace access, evidence and assessment requirements depend on the qualification and units. Ask our team what you will need before enrolment.

Q: Which course do I need for a builder's licence?

It depends on the jurisdiction, licence class and your experience. A qualification does not guarantee a licence. Confirm the current qualification, prescribed units, experience, financial capacity and other requirements directly with the relevant regulator before choosing a course.

Q: How long do the courses take?

Each course page lists its published duration. Your actual duration depends on study pace, workplace access, assessment evidence and any approved recognition of prior learning. Ask our team about your individual study plan before enrolment.

Q: Can I get credit for experience I already have?

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) involves an assessor reviewing current skills and evidence against unit requirements. Further evidence or gap training may be needed; experience alone does not establish competency. Ask our team whether RPL assessment may suit you.

Q: Do I need to choose between the Certificate IV and the Diploma?

Choose a course based on your existing skills, entry requirements, career goals and any licensing requirements. The Certificate IV is not automatically a prerequisite for every Diploma pathway. Ask our team to review your circumstances and confirm licensing requirements with your regulator.
