The Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety  is a nationally recognised qualification that can be completed in 12-18 months on the Gold Coast or online. It is designed for those who want to pursue a career in health and safety within the construction industry or any other industry where the application of the WHS Act and Regulation 2011 is relevant.

During the Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of work health and safety principles. At the end of this course, you will have the ability to manage WHS processes and procedures, manage risks, investigate incidents, and more.

  • Recognition of Prior Learning (Using your current skills and experience)
  • Combination of face to face and distance learning (Work at your own pace at home and then drop in for face to face learning when you need a little more guidance)

Eligibility requirements:

There are no entry requirements or pre-requisites for this training course however it is recommended that candidates should be a minimum of 16 years of age and hold a year 10 level of education.
